The short answer
Meta One is Meta's subscription bundle, launched worldwide on September 15, 2026. Its creator and business plans, starting with Essential at $14.99 a month, turn your Instagram bio links into a link page with up to 20 links, each with an image and a title. The page opens inside Instagram and has its own URL. Without a subscription you keep Instagram's free five bio links. A dedicated link in bio tool still makes more sense if you want to sell from the page, design it yourself or avoid a monthly fee.
For years, "link in bio" meant using an outside tool, because Instagram only allowed one link, then five. Meta One changes that for paying accounts: Meta now offers its own link page inside Instagram. Here's what it includes, what it costs and how it compares with link in bio tools.
What Meta One is
Meta One bundles paid features across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI into one lineup of monthly plans:
| Plan | Price a month | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp Plus | $2.99 | Single-app perks |
| Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus | $3.99 each | Single-app perks |
| Core | $7.99 | Personal bundle with more Meta AI use |
| Premium | $19.99 | Personal bundle with even more Meta AI use |
| Essential | $14.99 | Creators and businesses |
| Advanced | $49.99 | Creators and businesses |
| Expert | $149 | Creators and businesses |
| Max | $499 | Creators and businesses |
Prices are the launch prices reported by Engadget; Meta says they can vary by region, app and account.
What the Instagram link page includes
According to Meta's help center, the link page is part of the Essential, Advanced, Expert and Max plans:
- Up to 20 links, compared with 5 without a subscription.
- An image and a title for each link, so visitors recognize where each one goes.
- Its own URL, so you can share the page outside your Instagram bio too.
- It opens inside Instagram: tapping your bio link shows the page without leaving the app.
- An optional primary link, highlighted when you have at least two.
Teen accounts can't use it. The personal bundles (Core and Premium) aren't listed as including it.
The Advanced plan also includes a small monthly allowance of clickable links in posts and Reels, which is a bigger change for anyone who's ever written "link in bio" under a Reel.
How to set it up
With an eligible Meta One plan:
- Open your profile and tap Edit profile.
- Tap Links, then Add link.
- Enter the URL and a title, then tap Done.
- To add an image, tap Edit next to the link, then Add image.
- Optionally turn on Show as primary link for the most important one.
- Use the Link page tab to preview the page or copy its URL.
What it doesn't do
Meta's description covers links, titles and images. It doesn't mention:
- Selling. There's no product block or checkout on the page; to sell, you still link out to a store or a payment page.
- Design control. Beyond images and titles, the page isn't described as customizable with themes, blocks, video or forms.
- Detailed link analytics on the page itself.
- Your own domain.
And it's an Instagram feature: you can share its URL anywhere, but it's managed from your Instagram profile.
Meta One link page vs a link in bio tool
| Meta One link page | A free link in bio tool | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From $14.99 a month (Essential) | $0 |
| Number of links | Up to 20 | Usually unlimited (Linktree's free plan, for example) |
| Images on links | Yes | Yes |
| Opens inside Instagram | Yes, without leaving the app | In Instagram's in-app browser |
| Selling | Not included | Stick: digital products, 0% Stick fee |
| Design | Images and titles | Stick: 15 block types, 20 themes, per-block styling |
| Analytics per link | Not described | Stick: views and clicks per link, free |
| Other perks | Meta AI, Advanced-plan post links, support | — |
Should you pay for Meta One?
- Pay for it if you want the rest of the bundle anyway: the business AI agent, links in posts and Reels on Advanced, account delegation and support. The link page is a nice extra on top.
- Skip it if the link page is the only thing you'd use. Five free bio links plus a free link in bio page cover the same ground, add selling and design, and cost nothing.
If you go the free route, Stick, which our team makes, gives you a page you can design block by block, digital product sales with no Stick fee, and analytics for every link. And whatever you choose, the 11 ways to get more clicks on your link in bio still apply.
