The short answer

Linktree is a link page first: free for links, $15 a month (or $12 billed yearly) for Pro, which lets you sell with 0% Linktree fees. Stan Store is a storefront first: $29 a month after a 14-day trial, no free plan, 0% fees, with courses, coaching and bookings built in. Choose Linktree if most visitors come for your links; choose Stan if most come to buy. If you want to sell without a subscription, Stick, made by our team, is free and takes 0%.

People often compare Linktree and Stan Store because both live in the same spot: the one link in your bio. They solve different problems, though. Prices below were checked on October 9, 2026.

When Linktree makes more sense

  • Most taps go to links, not products: your latest video, podcast, newsletter or website.
  • You sell occasionally, and $15 a month for Pro is cheaper than $29 for Stan.
  • You want extras around the page: Premium adds social media scheduling, link rules, all-time analytics, data export and Instagram auto-replies.

The catch: selling isn't available on Linktree's Free or Starter plans, and no plan lets you use your own domain; your page stays at linktr.ee/yourname.

When Stan Store makes more sense

  • The page exists to sell: digital downloads, a course, coaching calls or bookings.
  • You want checkout on the page without stitching together separate tools.
  • You'll sell every month, so a flat $29 is easy to justify against 0% fees.

The catch: there's no free plan, so you pay before your first sale, and the yearly cost ($300 or more) adds up if you're still testing an idea.

Every option above adds Stripe's or PayPal's processing fee per sale.

A third option: Stick

Stick is the link in bio builder our team makes. It's free: every block, theme and per-block style is included, and a Digital Product block sells ebooks, presets, templates and other files through Stripe with no Stick fee. It also handles the "links first" job, with analytics for every link.

What it doesn't do yet: your own domain, removing the Stick badge, courses or bookings, more than one page per site, or an interface in languages other than English. If you need a full course platform, Stan is the better pick; if you want a beautiful page that can also sell a file, Stick does it for $0.

Questions people ask

Can you sell on Linktree for free?

No. Selling is available on Linktree's Pro ($15 a month) and Premium plans, with 0% Linktree fees plus $0.25 per payout.

Is Stan Store worth $29 a month?

It is if selling is the main job of your page, for example courses, coaching or digital products every month. If you mostly share links and sell occasionally, Linktree Pro or a free tool with 0% fees costs less.

Can I use Linktree and Stan Store together?

Yes. Some creators keep Linktree as their bio link and add their Stan Store as one of the links, but that means paying for both and adding an extra tap before checkout.
